Water divining also plays an important role in our site assessment process. It has been part of the Harte family for four generations and continues to assist us in identifying the most suitable location before drilling begins.

Martin Harte has been water divining for over 41 years, learning the skill from his father, who learned it from his father before him. Combined with generations of well drilling experience across Cork, it forms part of the practical knowledge that has been passed down through our family since 1929.

Water divining is a traditional method used to help identify underground water by observing natural changes while walking the land using divining rods. Over the years, Martin has carried out this process on thousands of sites throughout Cork, from private homes and farms to commercial developments.

Alongside local ground knowledge and decades of practical drilling experience, water divining helps us assess each site before deciding on the most suitable location for a well.
